ok ,awesome thanks fc7vw9.
that clears up a bunch of stuff ...

so then does yours have a vented cap?
and could you get a few more pics of in the trunk where it
looks like a bracket that is welded to inner fender that the tube straps to...?

I found "MF553A - 1970-72 Barracuda Ecs Vapor Line-5/16"- Original
Material from classic industries", I believe this is the correct line for this
5th vent line that hooks to the valve cover breather cap, correct if wrong.

I purchased mine from fine lines. See picture for part number. It is a two piece set one long one from front to back and one short one up the wheel well with a short piece of hose connecting the two. It is 5/16 and at the rear connects to the front tube on vapor tube. 71s also use double tube straps where both 5/16 fuel supply tube and 5/16 vapor line are in the strap and mounted to the under carriage. Fuel cap should read pressure/ vacuum. Because it is a "sealed" system either condition may be present when removing cap.

Vapor tube is stapped to bracket with a large keystone clamp. Sorry pictures are kinda blurry, time for a new phone. Hope these help.

Hi Jason,  I am sure I have one and you can have it. I will not be back home till mid June though. Keep this in mind if you can't find one.
