I want to make a nice driver out of it(never been a fan of "trailer queens"), being that my dream car is a hemi 'cuda I'm thinking it will go that direction.
A gen III hemi seems to be the best option for me at this time as I want a driver.
6.1 or a 6.4 swap controlled with the holley dominator is what I had in mind with a 4L60E trans.
I would also be interested in the gen II hemi, but the fuel economy kind of kills that idea. You always hear those stories of 17-20 MPG with efi but I am very skeptical of those.
Still a ton of research to do on the subject, and still a lot of work to be done on the car before that all happens.
I will be picking the car up either tomorrow or Saturday, I will grab pics then for you all. It had a vinyl top on it so the roof is shot, upper quarters has rust and the trunk extension, the trunk floor is bad also. The rest seems pretty solid
Probably paid too much for it, but these things aren't easy to find around North Dakota, nor Idaho where I am from originally
The guy I purchased it from was an awesome guy, he had three of them. This one, a '71 BS car that he is keeping and a '72 BH that's also for sale (black no front suspension, engine etc.)
