Tim's been helping me out with some of my stuff so I'm helping him get his car restored.

I hooked him up with one of my associate body shops that I use. http://www.boothillauto.ca/ and they've knocked it out of the park ! :2thumbs:

This shop has done a couple of cars for me now and if I keep staying as busy as I am, I think I'll be sending them more work for sure. maybe the convertible I'm currently doing.

If anybody in Southern Ontario is looking for a high quality paint job....I highly recommend these guys ! :worshippy

I don't see this color on the site very much.  This is similar to my numbers matching base model 318 1973 Barracuda.  I've been considering B7 or Viper Red but this picture has me thinking.  Will my car, a modest Resto Mod with a 340, Eaton true trac and new Firm Feel suspension, have more value if I also repaint with the stock green color but I change the interior to black (dash is already done) and whereas the stock was green?  I have the numbers matching drivetrain and original interior but have changed quite a bit of sheet metal. Most of the threads I've read here treat cars like mine as a launching platform for modification so I'm guessing changing the paint to another color is not a big deal. Any words of wisdom on this?

That is stunning!!! What is the paint code. It looks like FF4. I have always like that color, but for some reason, when the surface dulls up it is kinda ugly. My AAR is coded FF4 and when I get to it, hope it will look as good as the one you are working on.

My challenger was F8 and I cannot wait to put it back to its original color (was painted a forest green in the 80s apparently). After seeing it on this Cuda it makes my decision even easier to take it back to F8

One of the Cudas I remember from back in the mid 70's was a minty F8, 383 car. The guy looked after it and it was always clean and shiny, that makes all the difference.

Yea F8 is a pretty cool color - took me awhile to appreciate it on my 69 Charger  :2thumbs: But the black vinyl top definitely helps break it up as well.

Theres a reason F8 was so popular when these cars were new.. Bud the original paint faded pretty quickly unless it was really well cared for and when that happened it looked terrible.. Which is why so many people changed their cars color from F8 to anything but F8.... Then you see the color sprayed in modern BC/CC & looking like a million bucks & you remember why they sold so well as new cars...
