Great Boston show on a beautiful summer night last night.

I saw Boston twice.

First time when they were debuting their second album in 78'.
This giant organ came out from under the stage.

I was second row for that tour in Johnstown, PA during the old GA days. I had seen them in support of their first album already. They were fantastic back then. Now without Delp, and their vegan preachiness turns me off, not to mention the last two albums are just god-awful. I've debated whether I should go see them in support of their 40th anniversary tour. I think I would like to if a good seat opens up day of show, but I already have two others shows that week so it will be tough.

They played for 90 min, no preaching (in fact barely talked at all), and 90% of the music was off the first two albums.  Despite not having the original lead singer, I thought it was a great show.

Good to know. Their latest albums are plastered with how I should live my life. Glad you had a good time.

Brings back old times. They're playing tonight here in the bay area.

Nice shots! You either had good seats or a good camera, possibly both :)

If you meant me, thank you.

We had average seats. At the back of the third section from the stage at the outdoor shed. I use a point and shoot Nikon. It's got a good zoom but still I miss way more shots than I get. Gets frustrating at times, but I still enjoy the shows.

Just saw Boston Sunday. Excellent show. Played a solid 2 hours, very, very little talking as mentioned before and thanked everyone for coming at least a couple if times. We had 4th row center. Very happy since we were a little late buying them.
Have a video, but can't get photo bucket to do it.
Gama  Davey Pattison opened, played a lot from Robin Trower.

Thanks for the pics. Still thinking I'd like to go if I can fit it in my schedule. If I get tickets for Megadeth and the KISS show at Mohegan this week and go to Boston that will put me at 20 shows for the year so far. I also hope to catch Zakk Wylde, and my normal Christmas season shows this year (TSO at least twice and Gary Hoey).
