Throttle return spring mount
« on: May 25, 2016 - 12:28:39 AM »
On a 383 with A/C, the throttle return spring is mounted to a small bracket that is attached to the back of the AC compressor.  How is it mounted on non-AC cars?

P.S. Thanks for that picture, it answered some questions I had about A/C compressor mounting :2thumbs:

Okay, I got the bracket.  It is supposed to mount on the first intake bolt but doesn't seem to fit.  Does anyone have a picture of one mounted?

Here's the bracket on my 440, should be similar to your 383.  By the way, I have this and all the kick down brackets if you need them as I just switched to a Lokar set up with my 833. PM me if your interested.

Yes, great info. I need the support rod that goes over to the coil mounting bolt.    :ebay:
