All was use an etch or epoxy on bare metal!!! and I all was use urethane or 2k primer. polyester or feather fill was made for fiber glass work. that was intended for vary rough surfaces. to fill 40 grit marks and pin holes. :2cents:

These threads are for all who want to learn!!! no hijacking required!!!  :roflsmiley: Evercoat makes A product called metal glaze. part # 100425. 30 once plastic container, good stuff. don't ya love the .8 tens of A gallon thing. :2cents:

Thanks js29no......   I have been a little sidetracked (we just picked up a 1980 Volare for my son).....looking at the hood again, I am not sure if I would need filler or not.....very shallow "depressions" more than dents.

I had planned on figuring this out this weekend since it was a long one but the new ride took over....LOL

Ice is pretty good! when applied thin it can flex. I have used it on plastic bumpers. Ever coat metal glaze part # 100425 30 once container. :2thumbs: when the stuff gets old it dry's out, I would try A little on something first, but it's best to use fresh. :2cents:

The Evercoat Rage Gold can be bought right on amazon for like $55-56 for a .8 gallon to you door last time I looked. I signed up for amazon prime awhile back and buy a ton of stuff from them and get free 2 day shipping on almost everything.
