Heater hose bracket

On non-A/C big blocks (383,440), is there supposed to be a bracket mounted to the side fender well that holds the heater hoses?

This is from the 1970 FSM , not real clear on any bracket.

With the pic above it looks like the plastic loop that snaps onto the inner fender holds them in pace.
My 74 still has them

Is it the same plastic loops that you see holding the wiring or is it unique to only the heater hoses?

It's unique to the heater hose, but used on several models. It's pictured on the top engine in your FSM picture above.

Her is an older  pic of my 74.
Interesting CudaBob said his was white. I would assume whitish as in opaque. The smaller ones that hold wiring and my manual washer pump hose are "whitish".
