On the way to work this morning.
Following sightings,
a) bright orange 1970 Super Bee convertible
b) Maroon '67 Plymouth Barracuda
c) 1972? Dodge Dart, brown? hard to tell at 2 am.
d) Lime Light Plymouth SuperBird. Not hard to tell at 2 am, lol.
All on the way to work, all in the parking lot of the hotel I stay in away from home.
Marysville, KS is having their annual car show this weekend. Looks to be a few more Mopars than in the past?
For a small town, this car show delivers, year after year.
Many, Many nice cars. I think last year they had some 250 cars. 90% Very high quality. There is usually not many Mopars.
There is a local Ford dealer - named BOSS MOTORS. Last year he had like 32 BOSS Mustangs on display.
Every year, color, option available. It was phenominal. It truly was.
A few years ago, they were on the Hot Rod Power Tour route, LOT"S of cool cars passed thru.
For such a small town, (pop. less than 4,000?), their car show REALLY delivers - year after year. WELL worth your time if you are in the area. Good food, good people -
and GREAT CARS! I swear, about 6-7 years ago, at one hotel, there was 2 Mercedes Benz GullWing doors cars parked outside. I had the hotel driver
pull into the parking lot just to get a better look at them. HOLY SCHNIEKE! WOW!
HOW COOL IS THAT? lol. Many of these guys make a circuit, and Kansas City is next on the list. But for small town hospitality, you really can't beat the
Marysville Kansas show. It is a class act. All parked on the brick streets of downtown.
WHAT A WAY TO START TODAY! lol. (well, yesterday) It was so cool!
I'm not a spokesman, and am no way affiliated. On my way to work at 2 am, and saw all these beautiful Mopars in the hotel parking lot.
LUCKY ME! lol! Gave me a peaceful, easy feeling for the rest of the day.
