Mocked up QA1 Motor Mount Relocation.
Now to find someone to weld up a steel one and mod the TTi Mount to match.

Will match the TTi mount by relocating the biscuit mount surface the same distance towards the rear. Then remove the original QA1 mount completely. Could cut the QA mount and move it but I want to keep it there to match angles and be able to measure exactly how much to move the mount on the TTi mount to maintain the relative position of the engine mounting surface.

I'm liking how this is looking.

It would be an excuse to come down for a visit but you're right about the distance.
Thanks and Merry Christmas Mike.

Cut, Welded and Painted yesterday.
Ordered a Milodon Pan and Pickup, new Ram dipstick tube and dipstick for driver's side of block since the stock tube goes away along with the stock pan.

Some Cast Blast for the 3rd Member.
The thin black finish the new pig came with was already starting to show some surface rust. I like the natural cast look better.

Made up the hard lines for the rear brakes.
Still need to attach the Tabs to the Housing where the hard lines transition to the flex lines, just zip ties holding them for now.

Excellent!
Thanks Mike.
Baby steps but I often think about something you said when I was at your place.
May not be an exact quote but it stuck with me.
Do something every day if you can, no matter how small. Because it all needs to be done.

I try to do something each weekend.
Waiting for Main Cap Bolts so I can change out the oil pan.
Have to replace a couple since they are Torque to Yield. Never had those before.
Who knew they made throw away one time use bolts?

Randy,

You have a good memory and that is an exact quote. I have tried to adhere to this rule myself but at times it can be a struggle at best. It seems like for much of the time I am "prepping" and the comes the time when I have all the pieces in place and I can get a far amount done.

Some progress today.
Got the Hotchkiss springs out of the family room and on the car with the rear end.
Have some 14" rallye wheels to roll around on but they don't clear the calipers...
So on go the 17s.
First a little touch up on the springs in the family room. Still cold outside.
