You are not messing around around you  very cool.

Reference the seats, I don't know about A body but for my Cuda I used the stock brackets/adjusters and made an adapter to marry them to the Neon seats.

Yeah the seat bases from the Barracuda were super rusty. I saved them just in case but I think I can adapt the neon bases or mod the floor to fit or both...
Going to take a welding class at Everett CC.
I can borrow my brothers welder.

Scored this 110/220 Plasma Cutter off craigslist yesterday. Will cut up to 1/2" mild steel cleanly.
Will give it a try cutting the tunnel out of the Barracuda after a few tests...
Has some pretty good reviews. I like that it has a Pilot Arc.

Looks good, I love my plasma and recently converted it from 110 to 220, what a difference. I used it for years on 110 and it works well for sheet metal but i needed to cut some 1/4" wall rectangular tubing, so I made an adapter for it and went after it. I will say up front that a plasma will warp sheet metal when cutting if you hesitate, should not be a problem on a floor though. I have a Cut Master and it has been a work horse for probably 10+ years.
