So I measured them
The Neon SRT seats are 35" tall, 20.5" wide (widest point on the base) and 21.5" wide (widest point on the back)
The Viper seats are 35" tall, 21" wide (widest point on the base) and 19.5" wide (widest point on the back)
With that said, there are some caveats; first,
- while I am confident the height measurement on the viper seats are accurate, they are still in the car so I cannot be 100% it is super accurate.
- Also, the viper seats do not recline, at least mine do not whereas the SRT seats do.
- Viper seats (gen II) all crack in the seams, replacement covers are $700+
- SRT seats are cloth and vinyl, you can get replacement covers but they are around $700+ as well (leather). I intend to have mine redone by a custom shop which I am sure will cost $1000
When I was trying to decide on seats for my Cuda, I looked at the Viper seats, but as I recall, the "no recline" aspect plus the initial cost is what got me to go SRT.
hope this helpful.
