440 piston choice with Stealth heads

Was hoping to just hone the block on the wife's 440 build but engine builder said after machine shop checked everything out we need to bore the engine  .30 over.

Looking for economical forged pistons to go with the new Stealth heads that are 80cc.

Mild engine build that needs to run on pump gas, so under 10.5-1 compression?

Any suggestions on decent pistons at a good price?

Thing is the 440 Source pistons all use .990 pins so now your looking at rods too... not a bad thing just more $$ that probably isn't needed..

Really thinking something to go on the stock rods like Speed Pros/Sealed Power or similar forged pistons.

If I'm switching rods I would just do it right and get a stroker kit but this a mild build for the wife's street car.

For your intended purpose Speed Pros are fine, heavy but that means they balance easy without removing allot of metal... Back in the day lots of motors took lots of abuse with those pistons...   use these... SLP-L2355F30 should give you 9.9 with a .041 gasket or 10.3 with a .021 gasket...  Thin gasket will get you quench & overall a better combo but some folks don't like aluminum heads with steel gaskets....  Others say they've had no problems..

That's the direction I was heading.
These are old schools pistons that worked well back in the day, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't something new, exciting and cheaper in the 440 piston market.

The upside to the kits from 440source is that they are balanced.

Alas there are no cheap parts anymore....

Opinions on this complete overhaul kit with pistons, probably going to need everything in the kit as long as it has quality parts.
