I'm a big fan of clean original cars.   :clapping:   I'm a real buyer and would like to know if you have more photos?  Can you tell me more about the "original paint"?  What is left that is original paint and what has been repainted?   The cowl looks to have been painted, there is black paint all around the wiper motor, the battery tray is repainted black, the fender bolts have been removed and replace or removed for paint work, the hood latch has been painted, the hood hinges have been repainted incorrect black (someone loved to paint original orange things black).  Lots of stuff painted black that should not have needed to been touch if it was such an original clean survivor stored in heated climate control.  Is the wiper motor new or restored?  Are the wiper arms missing?  Also, why was the grill removed?  And the bolts from support have been messed with too.  And the funny thing is the one thing that should be black (the air cleaner) someone painted orange.  Wasn't V21 the black out hood treatment in 1970?  Has the hood been painted?  Just want to know what I would be buying.  Looks like a cool car!  Thanks in advance for your reply.

The original owner painted underneath the hood, the cowl , around the wiper motor etc years ago. I can't explain why except it was "just a car" back then and it's what we all did. I have a lot of pictures of the car and will provide them to anyone SERIOUSLY interested. The air cleaner is a 71 unit and not original to the car. I posted the engine picture when the hood was off the car and the wiper assembly was being reinstalled it is all there now. I show the V21 option as "performance hood"??? I have the build sheet available.

The outside paint is all original except for the "butterflies" and the clear coat over them. If you're a fan of clean original cars this is one. If you're looking for 100% everything original it's going to need corrected. I have straightened out a few things without trying to over do it. You're welcome to call and discuss any other questions with me.

I am not a "flipper" and I hate to see this car go. I am in the process of a divorce and the car is a "marital asset" that I cannot keep.

I had the same questions Cody.  Some orange has been repainted in the engine compartment as well.  The camber bolt covers are orange but should be black.

I really like the car though.  I love the odd bumble bee stripe/interior color combination!

It's a car and if I haven't learned anything in my 51 years it's that happiness is more important than "things". I will have another car in the future to play with. For now this one has to go. It's all good and someone else will enjoy it too!!!

Thank you for the quick reply and sorry to hear about your situation.  Sounds like a nice car.  I like to buy them all original or in need of a full restoration.  This one falls slightly in the middle for me.  It's so super nice that I can't really do anything with it (beside drive it and have fun).  If it was an untouched original car I would be all over it.  But with the little touch up things the original owner has done over the years I will need to pass.  You have moved the car forward well with all the little things you have done already.  Nice car and good luck with the sale.

I noticed that the T5 interior seems to be  a lot of different shades of tan.  I know that all the components came from different manufactures so the color is not suppose to be a 100% match but the steering column and door panels look kind of pink. The dash pad looks like the original saddle tan color. I have a 70 R/T Vert with the T5 interior so that is why I was curious on the different colors. Were any of them painted ??

Yes the interior has been painted due to the original panels being sprayed rustoleum leather brown. The lighting gives it a funky color in the pictures but it looks great in natural light. I consulted with Performance Car Graphics and found out there are actually 7 different shades and textures used on interiors. Obviously I used the same paint on everything I did.

The dash and seats are original.
