« on: June 18, 2016 - 09:34:05 AM »
hello group, Im getting ready to install new upper ball joints at the same time as I install 2inch drop spindles... do I need a special tool to install the upper ball joints or do they thread into the upper control arm? all help appreciated!

They do use a special socket as they are not a traditional nut size. Sockets may be available for rent at local Napa or other stores,  or you can buy your own at Mancini Racing. The joint does thread into the arm, but the threads are very shallow and nothing like a traditional bolt.
