Custom torque boxs?

Has any one here made there own torque boxs? Id like to make my own, just need some tips on placement, and what gauge metal to use. Thanks  :working:

They are typically 1/8" steel, ~10ga.


I'm usually all for doing it myself, but if i spent 4 hours each fabricating my own, i'd be paying myself $13/hr. Unfortunately, my garage time is rare enough that it's easy to justify the cost of buying a set and getting the car further along. If I had a CNC plasma table on-hand, that'd be a different story.
