Questions on new Windshield for a 70 Cuda

I'm getting close to ordering a new windshield for my 70 Cuda.  I noticed they have two types, clear and tinted.  Which is more correct for a 1970 model?

Also, I'm trying to figure out what size gasket to get.  I noticed they have 5/16" and 3/8" which is the right size to make sure the trim will still go on properly.

Both clear and tinted are correct for your car . Just which ever was order at the time . I like the tinted ban accross the top.

I think if your car came with a/c it would automatically get a tinted windshield. If your side glass is tinted you should get the same up front.

But I thought they were all tinted, so what do I know???

I used 3/8 to ensure good trim fit.

Thanks djw33.  That is my biggest concern is making sure the trim fits nicely once the windshield is installed.

I would use urethane around the butyl and glass to insure a good solid seal. if the butyl get the slight dirt on it you will have a leak.
