70 B5 Blue back seat bottom.
« on: June 29, 2016 - 05:52:16 AM »
My 70 B5 Blue back seat bottom is ripped.  Does anybody have an idea where I can get a rear seat bottom cover in 1970 Bright Blue?

Legendary Auto Interiors would be your best bet, but I doubt they would split up a set.
If you're trying to match your 46 year old top, you'll most likely have to search for an original one in mint shape which would be extremely difficult to find  :2cents:

I believe this was replaced in 1997.  A little less issue.

Legendary sold me (1) bucket seat cover.  They might just sell the bottom section.  You'd want them to send you a material sample though.  The "die lots" are going to be different so you want to make sure it will match.

mine is still mint, I think I'm the only one that ever sat in it when I was a kid. I'm debating whether or not to keep it or replace it when I do the fronts. the debate being 2 parts: will the colors match and will it eventually rip due to age requiring replacement eventually and possibly running into this same situation.

I've got some rolls of original vinyl how much would be needed to replace the ripped section?
