« on: July 05, 2016 - 10:39:59 AM »
Anyone have one to sell? Does not have to be pretty- as I can clean/ paint it.

Thanks

Are you looking for a C body 440 pan? B&E?  5 qt? 7 qt?  A 402 is 5 qt & was used on lots of big block B & E bodies... But I suspect you'd want a 7 qt Sixpack/Hemi pan which was also used on most 440 Magnums & some 383's in B & E bodies....  Both are available as reproductions for reasonable money....

Hi,
the block is actually a 440-6 from a Motor Home, so I know the pan has to be specific.

more specific as to what is it going in ? the truck or RV would have been a rear sump. B E would have a center. then which of the B and E pans are you looking for? the 402 or the 564 ?

the engine is in a 70 E Body, so I'm in search of a 402 pan.

402 pan is too small. Buy a repro 440+6 pan from somewhere like Mancini racing, brand new no dents, tears or leaks.
