I assume you are referring to the coils of hard line.. yes they are aluminum. I could not find 1/2 steel line or I would have bought that.

Yea that auto correct can be a *****..

Been moving slowly on this effort, had some issues with bending the 1/2 fuel lines as I could not find a good bender. I got it bent but there are some places where the line slightly "flattened" which I don't think would be a big issue but I just don't like it. I have enough line to make a second version, so I built a bender last night, I will post pictures of my "Franken-Bender" later.

I finished up the filter mount, turned out pretty well. I am posting some pics here for anyone who is interested.

Got my "Franken-Bender" finished.... works well although pretty heavy :)

I redid my feed line, came out MUCH nicer. I will post a pic later of that.

These fuel lines really don't want to go in, but I think I finally am making headway. Got the lines in and the filter mounted.

Finally got the lines done, all brackets made and the tank in. The tank required some work as the lines come out and hit the cross member, so I needed to redirect them. Also, I am using Fragola 8000 series push lines; definitely not as easy as they lead you to believe. On the Cuda I used the 6000 series which use a screw in type attachment which is MUCH easier. These push lines are a royal PIA to put together. I googled it and they say to put the line in boiling water, then lubricate the end and push it together "in one swift motion"... yea right! I tried that, a heat gun, boiling it longer, etc; the end will go about 7/8th in and then stops. No amount of twisting, pushing, swearing will get it that last bit. That said, they definitely are not going to come apart or split, but I keep thinking there has to be another way.
