I am going to hook everything up and see if the car runs before spending a lot of time routing and repositioning wires. This should be interesting.

Yeah, I got my 3 EFI cars running before I started cutting each wire one by one, then soldering,  heat shrinking the taping each one. Makes the install so much cleaner having the right length to each sensor but your back and knees are going to feel the pain.

I can see that pain coming, crawling around the car. I am trying to decide if I need the fuel pressure and oil pressure sensors.

Only if you want to log those. You can tell if your pressure or pump is low by logging injector duty cycle. If you hit 100%, your pressure probably dropped. Like you said, those transducers are expensive. I just use a gauge on my fuel rail.

Thanks, I think I will go without them for the moment. I need to put some fuel and run the pump to check for leaks, set up the Holley Dizzy, make the plug wires, hook up all of the wires and see if it will start.

I am planning on just manually running the pump (as in connecting the pwr wire to power) and see if there are any leaks. F&B and Holley state to do this several times.

I use these GM relays on my firewall. I install a "test" button to apply power to the pump by pressing the button. It lets me adjust the regulator and test for leaks. Same as hooking your relay 87a Normally closed terminal to 12v.

So, you have the pump wired to your ECU and this relay? I was just going to connect the pump power lead to the battery to get it to work and then see if there were any leaks.

Yes. Relay gets its power directly from a fused hot wire from the battery. A green wire from the ECU grounds it to turn it on. When not running, the button powers the pump.

So the pump is connected to the 30 pin, the ECU to the 87 and your test button to 87a, correct?

Yes, but my ECU toggles the GND to turn on the pump. Not sure about the Holley.  I also use a diode to kill the flyback pulse when releasing. Make sure that you pay attention to polarity with the diode. If you hook it up backwards it open like a fuse and is worthless.
Remember. Electrons flow NEGATIVE to POSITIVE.

Leaving for a car show.  I'm out.

you have a -12v in your diagram, so not sure about your ECU

Thats a darn good Idea Rob!

Mike my FAST EFI has a fuel pressure sensor that must be installed, I understand the systems are different but i thought they would require that input to run properly. The oil pressure sensor is a good safety option to cut engine on low pressure  but on a street car I don't see the need for sure

I do not think the FAST EZ system in my Cuda, but in the Holley system it is optional.

the "-12V" was supposed to be ground
