Might try finding a SS nipple a little longer than the correct length and cut the threads off one end. The 3/8" NPT is a standard so SS will be the same as steel, aluminum, etc. The slight undercut is for the clamp to seat the hose to the fitting--maybe you could do without the undercut if you used a regular worm style clamp.
