72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

 :iagree:

Seems like that "Hawks beak" front end has always reduced the classic firebirds to sleeper status in the hobby. Those bodies look so d*mn hot from every angle but head on -- Like a curvaceous bod going by and when you get around in front you find she has a beak like Getty Lee.     Nice ride for a decent price, yup.

unless he upgraded it to hydraulics, that 455 4/spd combo will turn your left leg into a tree trunk. I like this one, looks really nice. Firechickens don;t get enough love IMO

They share every body panel with the Camaro except for the grille hood & taillights , the suspensions were tuned by different engineers though & the firebird always handled far better . Penske / Donohue had a difficult time getting the Trans Am Camaros to go around corners in the late 60s
