Going for 245/45/17 front and 285/40/18 back. Will it fit without relocation kit? Fender lip is at tire height of 26.5 now. New tire will have a diameter of 27 and width of 11.22
Will a 9 inch rim be enough for a 285? YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To answer your first question.... :dontknow: :dontknow:

As far as the 9" rim... you'll be safe with an 8"... I've got 275's on a 7" and that's about as big as you can go....

Should be fine.  Try to find a 9" rim w/a 5.5" BS.

The 18x9 rim has a 0 offset
Will it be OK?

Don't think so.  That's only a 4.5" BS.  It'll work if you have a b-body rear end in your e-body.

Okay, that's like a 4.75" BS.  I'm surprised that still worked.

I had 16x9s w/a 5" BS and on one side, it STILL slighly rubbed on the fender lip w/smallish 245-50s.  Must be the smaller sidewall on the 40 series tires that keeps it tucked in.

Glad it works for you!  Car looks great!
