Okay...I bought the power steering reservoir that Brad found at Summit, except I opted for the smooth one, not ribbed (for her pleasure) and I bought the matching radiator over flow bottle. Kinda expensive, but real nice quality stuff.

While the car is in the metal shop I had Keith cut down the new AMD battery tray....

The dual electric fan setup, good luck with that one.

Problem being is that sooner or later they will fail and as Murphy would have it at the worst time.  :bricks1:

Got the rear sway bar welded in....we're going to lose the U bolts and weld the brackets solid before powder coating.

Also mount the Vintage Air Condenser, but have decided to run all custom made hoses in the PS wheel well.

You are mounting everything up while the engine bay is in primer? Then taking it out, painting and putting it back in?

Here's Keith Sim working hard on a shaker base plate to fit this big ol' FAST FUEL injected HEMI

Looks nice in aluminum, but I'll have it powder coated black to match the adapter ring.....by the way, it's not finished yet....and I'm not using that filter.. :2cents:

Air cleaner lid is hand fabricated from aluminum too....Might powder coat that orange so you'll see it in there....

Third brake light is now part of the interior rear window trim and will be painted black, so you'll only see it when the brakes are applied.

It's nice having a guy that can make anything you want out of metal :worshippy

Got the AC lines roughed in this week. as well as the power steering hoses...
In the engine compartment the to AC lines will hide under the two water lines, they're not shown in this picture.

I see a lot of people are running AC lines outside the inner fenders, is that just for looks or does it have any other purpose? My AC lines will have to go low on the driver side, thats gonna be a challenge.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Nah....I wouldn't go that far.....It's going to be a very "basic" resto-mod. No exterior mods, it's going to look 100% stock on the outside with the exception of the 17" wheels. Subtle interior upgrades, and of course all the bling under the hood.
A real departure from the "stock" restos I usually do.
