    Seat spacers

    '70 Cuda with bucket seats.  Do the bucket seats use the spacer pucks under the seat rails?  The service manual shows them on the Valiant and other models, but not on the Barracuda. Thanks.  :feedback:

    No I do not think they do, my 70 barracuda dose not have them.

    I agree they weren't original.

    However I put 2 on each front seat on the rear bolts and I really like the way the seats sit.

    They're 1 inch spacers and kick the back up a little to make the bucket sit a little more level.

     :iagree: I did the same thing. Made a nice difference. Amazing what a 1" spacer can do.  :2thumbs:

    It took 3 different companies before I got them right.

    1st time: Stereo city in Fremont said "Oh no problem, we'll get em right"

    2nd time: Sent the lower halves to Legendary. "No problem we're the manufacturer and experts"

    3rd time: Sent them to Ilea Leather in Fremont. Perfect!

    I probably have $2,000 in the front seats alone after all these idiots messed them up the first 2 times.

    I wonder why the other body styles used them?  Are the A & B seat tracks the same?  If they were, the spacers might have been necessary because of different floor pan designs.

    A little off topic but FWIW:

    When I dropped off my seats to get corrected, they...(Alea leather) had just finished up doing a complete custom leather interior for one of the Seattle Seahawks players.

    If anyone is planning on doing a custom interior, I would check this place out.
    They can do anything you'd like.
