Painting upper control arms
« on: July 30, 2016 - 01:44:49 PM »
Hey everyone,

My upper control arms are off the car, bare, blasted, and clean.

I'm getting ready to hit them with some chassis black paint.

Do I want to have the bushings and ball joints pressed back in before I paint, or after?

Thanks!

My vote is before ...

I think you will gouge your nice paint after pressing and screwing stuff in .

If you want them black, them paint them altogether it won't really matter, but at least they won't get scratched :dunno:
