Pictures from a few shows this year *PIC HEAVY*
« on: July 31, 2016 - 11:38:22 PM »
My boys and I have been to 3 shows so far this year,  first one was the power dodge show in estevan, sk.  We pulled the cuda down with my 82 crew cab and decided to enter them both.  So pulled the hitch and mudflaps,  wiped off the bug guts and entered the old truck too.  Crew cab won 2 trophies,  cuda 0.

Next was the mossbank show and shine,  entered them both again and this time the cuda won best car and truck 0.

The last was the collectors cruise and shine,  we drove the cuda 100 miles into the city and took part in the cruise portion.  We stuck around for about a hour of the show then took off for home to make it there before dark

Seen a lot of nice cars and have had a blast so far,  my wife has even decided to take part in the fun and we'll soon be fixing up a 79 super beetle convertible for her!  (Her choice,  I wanted to build her a superbird clone but no dice lol)

Bought my wife a beetle convertible,  did a quick fluids change and a tune up and took it to a show yesterday.  We did a quick power polish on it and away we went.  Was 65 miles each way,  my wife and two daughters in the bug and myself and one son in the Cuda.  We had a great day,  was hoping the bug would win something but no dice.  The Cuda won a people's choice award though so that was a nice recognition.

.

I've been trying to get her into it for a while,  tried with a pink Cuda,  tried with a 70 roadrunner that I would turn into a superbird clone.   Turns out she didn't like any of my ideas lol.

She decided on either a jeep or a beetle and after seeing a few of each decided on a beetle convertible.
