Nice looking car. $70k for a 340? What is the general consensus on cars offered by Vanguard Motors?

Somebody should tell them 71 Challengers never had white kick panels :2cents: and there's a gold 340 shaker convertible floating around for sale for not a lot more....however this blue car is a 4 speed... :dunno:

If white kick panels are the only thing to pick on, car can't be that bad... You're right though the white panels don't seem right - easy fix though.
And IMO a much more desirable color combo than a gold auto car. Needs white stripes though ...

Should both engine and tranny cover be blue ?

Also on Ebay.
Here's the  video from their website:

This rotisserie restored, nut & bolt '71 Challenger is 1 of 176 340HP convertibles produced and 1 of 9, 4-speed manuals produced, making it extremely rare!

Is that 1 of 9 produced or 1 of 9 in Galen's registry?  I can't believe only nine total 340 4-speed convertibles were built.

Engines changed from orange to blue in March/April of 71.  If this car was built after that, then blue is correct.  Plain steel wheels also changed in this time frame.  They came painted body color before March/April and were changed to black on later cars.

$70k? Not bad for a 340-four speed.

Half the price of a comparable 'Cuda.

However...I'm biased and rather have a 1970.
