Custom Hockey Stripe - ChallengerGary?
« on: August 04, 2016 - 03:24:51 PM »
I would like to replace my 383 hockey stripe with a 505 for my new stroker motor. Is ChallengerGary still the go to guy for custom graphics? If so, can anyone PM me his contact info? According the the boards he hasn't been on since June.

Thanks!

EDIT: Nevermind. Didn't realize this is the same person who is a Champion Radiator dealer. Feel free to ignore.

Every town has someone that does vinyl graphics for signs, cars, etc. Take your car to them and have them match up the color and font and replace only the 383.  I live in a town of 20,000 and there's at least 3 places here.

Racer I appreciate your suggestion and it was something I considered having done, but I was afraid the numbers would stick out like a sore thumb since the 383 strip had seen a lot of sun (unfortunately the car doesn't fit in the garage and instead sits in the driveway with a car cover). The 383 stripe is at least 6 years old. Do you guys think it would be noticeable?

Ask for a cutting of whatever color you need and hold it beside your existing decal.  Only way to know for sure

Performance Car Graphics
By far the best Hockey Stick Stripes I've ever used.
Year One was good with the fist ones 28 years ago. Tried a couple from others recently but they never were quite right and ended up being replaced and finally could not be happier with PCG.
There's no compairison! Get them from PCG, do it once and be done. :2cents:

Sorry, I meant I didn't know if the 505 (the new vinyl) would be noticeable compared to the old portion of the 383 stripe.

The 505 itself will be very noticeable, especially with the exhaust I chose :)

Your car will not fit into your garage?? You have a hemi car, wing car or Viper in there? I would never consider leaving one of my E bodies outside for every kid with a bike, teen ager with an attitude or other hater to get at it.
Current Mopar
70 Challenger RT 440-6 EFI, 73 Cuda 416-6 EFI
05 Hemi Durango, 01 Ram 4x4, 14 Ram 2500 4X4, 10 PCP Challenger 6 spd RT, 01 Viper GTS ACR, 52 B3B w/330 Desoto Hemi, 70 Hemi RR (under const)
Past Mopars
9 x Challengers. AAR Cuda, 4 RR, 2 GTX, 4 Chargers, etc... (too many to list)

My dad keeps his '69 Dart in the main part of the garage and then the other side just has a lot of crap in it. It's a long story, but his Dart is getting rebuilt (second time around) and I live and work in another part of the state. I'm saving up for a down-payment on a house, but when you're 25 it takes a little longer :).

My parents live in a quiet neighborhood with mostly older folks who live in their cul-de-sac, so it's not all bad. Their driveway is long enough that I keep the car boxed in with their other vehicles. I would absolutely love for it to be garage kept, but I'm working on it.
