Something about that luggage rack on these cars make them look even more fantastic.

No not all, in that sense...The only thing I sometimes have to do is adjust the doors "back" up in to position after all the weight is back in them. :2thumbs:

WOW, great looking sisters Alan. We weighed the glass and all the components in the door and just put a piece of steel the same weight and it actually worked out perfect but no big deal adjusting them anyway.

To each their own I guess. I think the luggage rack looks stupid on all these cars.

And I feel that way about most of these cars that have wings.... Certainly the fat kidder ski repo wings... Correct repos are so rare these days that most seem the think the Kidder Ski is correct.... :puke: :roflsmiley:

This is better than a season of Graveyard Carz.    And you learn more as well.    And you cant ask THOSE guys questions while they are building.
Those two Challys all sprayed up and waiting for assembly,  thats a sight you don't see nearly ever.  Rare to see two of the same cars in the same stage of restoration.

Great work Alan,     I build homes for a living,   but I'm thinking you may have my dream job.

WOW, nice.    :2thumbs:   I'm hoping you will do a seperate thread on the sunroof assembly.  Do you have the evaporator case for the A/C  ?

I was hoping not to have to put the sunroof back together...but I guess it can't be avoided  :banghead: ....I think by the time I get to the third one...I'll be a pro... :smilielol:  This one was in a million pieces when I got it...not even sure if everything is there. :crying:

I have a NEW:
evaporator
condenser
compressor
clutch
drier
low pressure switch
expansion valve
water control valve

What I need is :
The four lines, hard lines and hard lines/hoses
Drier mounting bracket
Water valve mounting bracket
rear compressor mounting bracket (383)

Wow that looks great! Those 14" wheels and polyglass tires fill the wheelwells really nice, they have me rethinking my plans to upgrade to 15"s.

Think I have a drier mounting bracket, will check in morn. I have a set of the hardlines that the rubber hoses crimp to. Have anybody up there can weld on ferrels and crimp hoses. ??

I appreciate that, but it would look very "factory".  :dunno:

I have one complete set of everything (currently out getting re-plated) they can actually re-plate the steel part without affecting the original rubber hose.  So my trick is to find the exact same hoses for the other car....When the hoods are up I need both cars to look identical :pullinghair:
