Check out this video . I never would have guessed the axle moved this much . When the car wheel hops , the banging I hear is that the tires leaving the ground or is something else hitting .

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wpd3Q8p61cE

I get told over and over at the track that Caltracs are the single best investment you can make in regards to launch and 60' times. After watching these videos - they will be the next $500.00 I spend, and then their springs, and then taller tires and then.............................. I think I need an intervention.

the front spring mounts & the ladder bar front mount are at different lengths from the diff so as the suspension rises or drops , the arcs are different so you need a 1-1.5" slot in  the spring mount to allow the diff to move on the springs , you can easiy make them using a steel plate above & below the spring & use spacers & grease the heck out of them , the ladder bar transmits the power the spring just hold the body up , I have never found anything better for traction , I used to pull the front wheel on the street @ stop lights using street tires

Well while you are sitting there enjoying the ocean breeze - you should fab up a few sets for us. I could sure use a few tenths on my 60' - pegged a 1.655 Friday night on stock leafs and air shocks lol.

My problem is if I can't buy it then it likely is not going to happen unless I have some instruction / diagram / pics.

Moroso, comp engineering, etc., all make them. easily purchased and installed, BUT you need ladder bars, or a 4 link.

Here is the installation instruction. Pretty straight forward, i'm not sure why they want you to drill a 5/16" hole through the front of the leaf spring and bracket. They don't show a bolt for it. Maybe an omission? I would install a bolt myself.

Ok Thanks. Have been thinking of installing something like this myself. Need to check, I'm afraid it's a little low, but not sure. Wonder how this one compares to other brands in terms of height.
