I have one of the MCO trunk mats from the 80s for my Challenger that I've had stored away. Unfortunately it's been rolled up and moved around from time to time for the last 25+ years, and that original material starts to tear after a while. So mine has some tears in it.
Finally my car project is getting close to the finish line so I will be installing it, few tears and all, it's still head and shoulders above the crap they sell as repro trunk mats today.
ECS was going to come out with them a few years ago but Dave came out with some bad excuse as to why he canceled the project (IIRC "not enough preorders"). Neither me nor anyone I know heard about them taking preorders and I had money burning a hole in my pocket ready to order 3!
There was recently a discussion on mats on another Mopar forum and they said the original material is called Burtex which is a hemp/burlap material with the pattern painted on. ACC sells some trunk mats they call Burtex but I'm told it isn't even close to right.
Jim at Detroit Muscle Technology said he is working on producing repro trunk mats. He said he has searched extensively but hasn't found anyone making Burtex today (anyone know where to find a source please contact Jim!). His products are always great so even if he can't make them in Burtex I'm sure they will be a ton better than the mats on the market today!
