What would you prefer ? The only other choice I know of are those white foam backed folded up ones.............or NO trunk mat at all ?

You have some pretty significant E Bodies in your collection Rick, what can we expect to see when we open the trunk ?

My big mistake Alan. A bad read by me.
I thought you were referring to the folded up POS mats that you also mentioned. Not sure what I was thinking. The REM ones are 200% better than those and I have had them in some E-bodies I have sold.Good used is a good alternative but check out the E-body parts for sale section on MOPAARTS as there is an NOS one listed there for $500.
 I just rotate my one original one in my cars. Not sure what I'll do if I start selling the better E-bodies, I should have kept the slightly worn originals I have sold over the years.

Whether they actually have the "03 Gray Herringbone" in Burtex is another question. Other sites I found only have that color/pattern in fleece or vinyl backed. At a $139.00 just for the material it's getting up there.

The one on Mofarts looks like a MCO mat and is priced accordingly

I don't know what other choice they have.....I wouldn't give their car back to them with nothing in there  I guess that's why Rick will never be a customer of mine

His cars are in extremely good hands anyways...although, now I'm curious as to what they use for trunk mats

Its simple I show the cars to the customers with my only NOS mat then switch it with REM they can't tell the difference. I have been using the same mat for years. I have an NOS mat for every car. 

Basically if going for OE cert the car gets the original mats but not all the time. Not only are they expensive but they are hard to find true originals.

Narrowed down to 2 from recommendations, one from Classic Industries for $51.99 and one from Hoover Auto Parts for $54.85. Both rubber mats for 70 Cuda in gray herringbone design (only option).
They look the same, anyone use either of these?

I suspect there are not a lot of manufacturers of these, so more than likely they are made by the same company. I would do as Alan suggests and try Dave @ Roseville; I bought my weather-stripping and door handles from them; outstanding customer service and they know these cars (they are actually enthusiasts, not just a company selling parts); that said I bought my trunk matt for my Challenger from Hoover, very nice quality; however I suspect Roseville carries the same thing.

I bought a trunk mat for my Charger from Dave.  Fits good and good as quality as I was expecting.

looks similar to what Hoover parts sells, I have 2 of theirs and they are good.
