engine pad numbers

Anyone know the decoding of this engine pad?
If I recall correctly from the serial number, it was a 1973 block.

The pad reads:

J4     0T       maltese cross

5  10    2

Looks like 440
T may mean truck use or Trenton
5  10 would be build date
2 may be 2nd shift
Maltese cross .001" U/S crankshaft
