    I'd like to put wider tires in the rear for more traction. I have a 2011 SRT has anyone tried running a 295/40/20 in the rear on stock rims ?

    295 will fit just fine, Ive actually seen guys run 305 on the stock wheel (see pic).

    No trimming, rolling, spacers, or any of that.

    Stock wheel is 9 inches and 275 is the most you should run safely. I got 295 with after market 10 inches wide rim. Tirerack.Com will have tire size calculator and recommended wheel sizes.

    I put Cragers 17 x9 with 9 and a 1/2 inch nittos on the rear and 17x8 with nittos on the front.
    I have like half an inch to spare on the rear - no issues on the front
