Welcome to the site Chris!  Curious, what make you think this is a 70 cuda?  Or are you pulling our chain soldier?

I stand corrected! This shows how green I am to the Mopar community lol

I have much to learn.  :chatting:

I actually went halves on this car with a buddy who lives in New Mexico. Currently the car is locked up in my dads shed up north, so I can't even tinker with it right now...

Its got a 2bbl 273, which needs a THOROUGH rebuild. The valvetrain is pretty gunked up, but I can turn the crank, so hopefully the motor will be salvageable.

If not, I have thought about swapping in an efi  5.2 or 5.9. We'll see what happens when we actually start working on it.

Welcome to the site   Unless you're hooked on the 273, I wouldn't do it; you'll want more power and the money is better spent going straight to that, as you mention. I don't know about the EFI thing unless you're very cognizant with it's intricacies, but your car, your call. Good luck with it.

Welcome! Nice project you have there. If you have EFI questions talk to 70chall440, he is pretty smart on that stuff.
