update, in middle of replacing heads on Trans Am, so
will get back to solving this issue in a couple of weeks
72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

Well considering you've been driving the last 15 miles with your left turn signal on, I'd suggest a left turn.
cudabob, glad cars now have the warning chime when you've left your turn signal on. Not that I've ever heard it chime.........very much.
Hope you get your problem figured out, must be soo frustrating. :pullinghair:

actually, driving around for about 3 years with the car working perfectly, I knew
this moment would come. Just part of life.

cwap, on LS1 Trans Am, heads on, rockers in, all header bolts in, except last
header bolt (pass side, all the way back) got crossways with the first two threads in the head.
think the hole ie M8x1.25, and will try to tap it.

Dont want to pull the head if possible.

wah

ok, back to Cuda
will blockage in air bleeds on the main body of 850 carb
prevent idle below 1000 rpm. don't see any, but
maybe there's junk in the passageways?
