very kind! If MSD sends my 6AL Digital back and says its working fine, I may borrow your
box just to see if solves problem, should I have no more answers.

can rev past 1000 rpm, then it dies immediately.

Can you set your idle stop screw to hold 1200-1300 rpm?

Your AFR reading before the engine stalls indicates a lean condition for some reason, IMO.  What do you think?

I considered some kinga fuel blockage, but couldn't find any.
Electronics may be so screwy, that the AFR readings could mean nothing.
The very first thing I suspected was the 6AL box, but talked with MSD,
and they said the tach needle hovering around 200 rpm would not be caused by the
6AL.  If the 6AL comes back with a repair, they were wrong I guess.

FWIW, I have found that whenever there is an electrical issue that fails to provide (properly timed) spark to a cylinder(s), it always drives the AFR to "Rich", which makes sense as the air/fuel charge exits the exhaust in a unburned state (high HC). We'll see what happens after MSD has checked out the 6AL. I hope that's it!

ya, if not it, start walking down all the wiring.  Then start over!

haven't heard from MSD, but noticed my Visa was charged $43.
Which is the total for them to look at it plus mail it back.
Thinking I might get it with a note that says "couldn't find anything"
should see it tomorrow or Monday I suppose!

Maybe true but we will see when you get the 6AL back. At least you know the ignition amplifier is ok.

Then I will wonder why my test of it, per MSD instructions, did not work correctly.
Will know soon!
