Rear sitting to high

Hey guys, finally got my exhaust done and put my car on the ground, it seems the rear sits way to high-always has.  I was thinking of using the two hole front hanger,  but I don't think 1 inch lower would do much-maybe 2" would make it sit better.  What do you guys think?

What springs do you have? What shocks? What tires and wheels? They look a little small.

Yah, what springs? The easy thing to do is just put lowering blocks on it. One or two inch shouldn't be a problem. Your springs might settle a little over time once you get some miles on it.

The springs are standard factory-shocks are just Monroe gas shocks.  Wheels are 17"

the factory HP springs sag like crazy put some weight in the truck & they will be too low in approx 1 month

By standard factory, do you mean standard HD springs from Mopar Performance or standard springs from another company?

I don't believe they are HD springs, just springs that where born on a 318 car

Give it a bit of time to see if they will settle in to where you want them. They will settle. Don't agree with CP that they will be too low, but that is just personal preference.

The replacement HD springs from Mopar are notorious for sagging quickly ,weird that the factory 318 springs sit that high .

What direction are the shackles pointing? Towards the front, back or perpendicular?

Agreed. Something else is at play. I've never seen 30+ year old, 4 leaf factory issue 318 springs sit that high unless that had work done to them or they were swapped, or...
