As part of the group that helped build the E-Bodies.org site, I will reach Ross again to determine if we can partner to improve the experience for all E-Body owners & enthusiasts.

I would like you to comment on "https://forum.e-bodies.org/index.php"  this forum that I just recently come to find.   Why do we have two??  Maybe they could be combined?

A good buddy let me know that Ross made a design change.   :woo:  Had to come over and check it out.  I really like the new logo at the top of the page.  :clapping:  A few of the links do not work yet, but I'm sure that will get solved quickly as the testing and bugs get worked out.  Congratulations Ross on your new design.    If I could suggest one thing it would be to make the text a little easier to read in the post by making them darker.  Or adjust the background so the light text shows up.  Again, congratulations on the new designs.

I have to say this new look to the forum is awful and am saddened.

All of the posts are appearing in all capital letters which makes reading very difficult.

The fonts/colors are very displeasing to the eye.

I think this change rates a 0 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being excellent.

"I TOO FOR THE MOST PART ONLY USE THE  "SHOW UNREAD POSTS SINCE LAST VISIT" AND "SHOW NEW REPLIES TO YOUR POST"

Wtf happened to the forum? All of the above is gone and now I have no idea how to go to posts I have commented on. So far not happy at all... it doesn't work worth a crap on my mobile like the old site

Granted we all get stuck in our ways and like what we know. But there are a few changes that I feel should be considered, to improve the new look of the forum.

- The color scheme is hard on the eye's (if you keep the greys maybe alternate the shade between topics light/darker)
- Remove the all upper-case text
- Make the quote, reply, notify options easier to find. (maybe make the text on a "button" similar to the "post" button when responding to    a post
- Maybe an option to hide the wall of emojis?
- The preview post option text is very light and hard to read

I am missing the part that showed me the unread posts since my last visit and posts in threads that I have posted in.
Am I blind?

Change, just for the sake of change, is usually a PITA and while I've been a loyal member here quite a while, I have to say that the combo of not telling us about this way in advance and the previously mentioned inability to access the unread thread section seems to be just that- a PITA! Cody must be having a good chuckle when he sees this setup.  :screwy:

First I would say that this is a great web board. I may not post as much as some but I've frequented the board daily for many years.

I would like to see a board that has a member photo gallery section  :2thumbs:
There is a members photo gallery section.

When you enter the cuda-challenger HOME PAGE to sign in there is on the header
HOME - MEMBERS RIDES - FORUM WHERE YOU SIGN IN - SPONSOR SITES - TOOLS - WHERE YOU COULD CROP AND EDIT YOUR PICTURES.  Seems people do not want to read.
1970 AAR Cuda
1970 Gran Coupe Ragtop. 1 of 66
Gran Cpe Convertible 1 yr only.

" I Want to Ride "

Leave it alone.
I find Cuda-Challenger the best website for ebodys.
Who ever set it up did an excellent job.
Each category is setup for easy posting and reading.
Some members I see do not read the full post on a subject.
Or they don't know how to search the web for there own parts and vin decoding..
Look at e-bodies website. The members there post the subject on any category.
Granted some members on CC post on the wrong category a moderator sends it to the category where it belongs.
There is on the Home page a MEMBERS RIDE page to post your ride........it should have a security stamp so no one can copy your pictures.
When you enter the cuda-challenger HOME PAGE to sign in there is on the header HOME - MEMBERS RIDES - FORUM WHERE YOU SIGN IN - SPONSOR SITES - TOOLS - WHERE YOU COULD CROP AND EDIT YOUR PICTURES.  Seems people do not want to read.

Increasing the picture size was the most important feature all members wanted.
Save your time and money. Just make sure the CC web site is secure.
This year when sign in with password a message came up telling me the web site was not secure

What can I do if a login page is insecure? This didn't work.

If a login page for your favorite site is insecure, you can try and see if a secure version of the page exists by typing https:// before the url in the location bar. You can also try to contact the web administrator for the site and ask them to secure their connection.
Not recommended: You can also continue to log in to the website even if the connection is insecure, but do so at your own risk. If you do go this route, try to use a unique password or a password that you don’t also use for other important sites.

Is this really the new site? Did we ignore all of the requests and comments about our favorite features and just go with the first pre-made standard blog platform we could find?

Everything I liked about the site and everything everyone commented on is gone. Yes, I’m going to keep b*******. This is not a good change from the old.

AARuFAST, Thank you for the compliment.  Well, I can't take all the credit, but I did help.  Back when CC was updated (to the version just before this recent update) we all complained about how hard it was to read and in general did not like the new update.  I remember wanting to help make it better so I came up with a design, color and font style that was easy to read and understand quickly.  My normal job is proofing and designing signs so I understand the importance of a good layout.  I just took a screen shot of the poorly designed CC site and put it in CorelDraw so I could resigned the fonts, styles, bold areas and letter weights.  That way Ross could see exactly what it needed to look like to fix it.  If I had to guess this might have been about 10 years ago or so.  I think I still have the original design that I sent to Ross.  Anyway, Ross was more then happy to use the suggestion and make the small changes to the fonts, sizes, and colors.  And that made the CC site much easier to use for the members.  I bring this up because I'm sure he is willing to listen and make changes to this new design too.  It's not easy keeping a website updated and fresh so lets give him some time and I'm sure he will make the needed adjustments.  Many of you know I helped start https://forum.e-bodies.org and most CC members visit E-Bodies and vice versa.   So I kinda feel like we are all part of the same family.  All I ask is you treat Ross the same way I would want to be treated or the way you would want to be treated.  Both Ross and I have full time jobs and do these forums in our spare time.  Give him a chance and I feel confident he will make the small changes to fix the little things.  The all caps issues is an easy code fix.  The links for the "Show Unread Posts and Replies" is also super easy to put back in place.

Many people on here and on E-Bodies know me personally and I hope I do not come across as a jerk or not appreciative of your comments.  I value everyone's time and opinions including yours AARuFAST, however I have to take issue with you saying "LOOK AT E-BODIES WEBSITE. THE MEMBERS THERE POST THE SUBJECT ON ANY CATEGORY."  That is not true at all.  :nono:  We have very specific categories and our moderators do a fantastic job of keeping things where they belong.  The only reason I can think that you might say that is because maybe you are looking at the top of the main forum page that automatically shows the Most Recent topics?  Maybe that is what has you under the impression that we do not have categories?  If that is the case, all you have to do is use the "Show unread posts since last visit" or "Show new replies to your posts" and the "Most Recent" list goes away.  Or you can visit any of the categories below to see the post are all very well maintained in the correct category location.

Here's a screen shot so you can see what I'm talking about when I say the most recent posts are shown above the normal topics and categories.  The "Most Recent" topics is kinda like the "Show unread posts since last visit", but it does it automatically by default and lists them above the normal forum area for

I hope this isn't the finally format layout for this forum.  I've enjoyed being a member of C-C.com for a long time but with the new color shading and the all Caps text, it's very difficult to read posts now.  That plus the loss of the "Posts Since Last Visit" feature make this site almost unusable for me in it's current form.  Hope you will please consider trying something else.
