I have heard others use the term make it a sticky but I can't find anything on that how to do on the forum or is that just a generic term for saving it yourself  where you would normally save.

Stickies are the colored posts that stays on top of the list in each forum, I think only admins can make sticky's.

Did some looking at other forums, probably clicked on 20+ & C-C.com has the great majority of them beat as is... the one that caught my eye was this... http://www.corvetteforum.com/
Links are easy to follow with link tree's clearly visible & some good sections such as GALLERY.

http://www.acuransxforum.com is to busy for my taste... Participation is pathetic   :dunno:

I think the Members Rides section we have has been neglected (look who the contact is).. seems to me any COTM should automatically be added to this to keep it current.  :2cents:

I am a member of many forum sites.  I like this site more than any other.

I do agree that the graphics and home page are a little low on the flashy totem pole.

This would be nice also.

Maybe this?
Some forums have a "user control panel" it allows you to subscribe to threads. So you build your own library of threads that interest you or have info you want to save and reference latter on. I don't know if there is a way to do this here already?

I wonder if there is any way using the current software that there can be a "Topic Preview" feature. I am on several forums that have the ability to "mouse over" the title of a topic that interests you and you see the first sentence or so of the first post in the thread without clicking on the thread and opening it to see of it is something of interest. That would be a handy feature if possible...   :dunno:

I think being able to have the member's location in the profile on the left side of the page would be an asset. Every so often, you see someone buying/selling/looking for parts and it would be real easy to see if getting the parts is feasible do to location and size.  Even if it was just a State/Province or Country if across the pond, would sure take out some of the guess work

Most of the forums I visit have a button or line somewhere near the top of each thread to go to first unread post. Saves having to scroll for dates or remember where the thread last left off.
If this one currently has one please call me stupid and show where.

Out of the 3 forums I'm a member of, this is by far the easiest and my favorite. If you get rid of the unread posts since last visit or new replies to your post option I and everyone else will riot!! :villagers:

Lol I don't want to have to go to user cp and search around through a forum for these options.  Maybe add a third one though that lets you select "past topics I've posted on" right there with these two on the front page so you can look at your old posts from the get go.

Also, when you click on home old cuda/challenger stuff should be on top.  leave the off topic and new challenger stuff at the bottom because most don't care about it!
