Most of the forums I visit have a button or line somewhere near the top of each thread to go to first unread post. Saves having to scroll for dates or remember where the thread last left off.
If this one currently has one please call me stupid and show where.

If you click the "new" button behind each thread title it will take you to the point where you last left it.
In search of the eternal buzz!

"deals, sales and coupons section".
This idea is from another forum I'm on. Members share any info of sales and pass it on and post discount codes and or free shipping deals. It would be one place to go to for shopping. Tman told me today about a sale at mancini's, Topcat posted about a AMD sale,  awhile back accurate exhaust had a sale, Rockauto, classic.........Might be better to go to one section too see?  :dunno:

so im talking to the guy i think were gonna go with for some help.  he pointed me here
http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/

there are a ton of themes there, almost too much for one person to go through.  some will be very simple like what we have here, others will be a little more wild.  if youd guys would like to take a look to see whats available and make suggestions im all ears!  i think we will probably stay more on the simple side for our theme, but there certainly are lots of options!

Have a suggestion for a feature.

It would be handy to save a specific set of search results.  For instance, today I was looking for information on a proportioning valve problem.  I wanted to save that (or even book mark it) for future reference.

Don't know if others would find that useful.  Just thought I'd throw it out there while you are retooling the site.

Although I will say that the search seems to run quicker than I remember it in the past.

Thanks for all the hard work.  It's much appreciated.

guess I agree with most. This site is so simple and clean. Sure, Update the photos,Make it look a little different.  I'd like to see more member rides photos displayed somehow.   Overall it's the best forum platform IMO.     Pics are tough for us less techie,My  phone sizes it when I email em.   Otherwise a hassle.    I understand you wanting a fresh look.   And think it will be good.  Love this place.   :ylsuper:

On the PAGES indicator, could there be a PREVIOUS and NEXT button/tab added?   That would be a little easier than trying to hit the exact page number with the cursor.

Picture resizing seems to be a big issue for a lot of people, and yes, it is kind of a hassle. There must be a script that automates this process on upload. (or a forum template with that built in) And pictures are so important here.
