still trying to work on this.  finding people to trust who can do the job right is tough.  but hoping to get something done.  again nothing dramatic, just a nice facelift

I wish I was more tech savvy - I would gladly help out. But alas, it is not to be.....   :walkaway:

Some more suggestion for features if you guys are looking in to other designs:
• Be able to tag someone in a post. Make sure a certain member get a notice. Can be very helpful.
• A Like button, or Thanks. Some other forums have that, its nice.

:iagree: Wish it was on the bottom of the page as well.

Or make the top section of the page static. The rest of the page would still scroll but those buttons would not move and always be on the page...

How about a way to tell if a members inbox is full before sending a message. Wasted my time many times.

A rolling/changing header.

Or changing it every once in a while to a different one...Cycling multiple.

And maybe an email to that member if it is full, or approaching full.

Maybe that happens already, and I just have never gotten that close.

If you click the "new" button behind each thread title it will take you to the point where you last left it.
Where exactly is that 'new' button. I don't see it anywhere?

Never mind....blind...

never thought this would be so difficult.  went through 3 separate groups of developers.  2 didnt meet my standards.  the 3rd was doing good work and was nearly complete and then just disappeared.  havent heard from him since late novemeber.  at least i didnt give him any money yet, but it was very frustrating.  so i guess i have to find someone else.  again

Unfortunately it's the nature of the biz.

At least you didn't give him $$$ and he disappeared, seen that before many times.

Many startups fail solely due to this.

after being frustrated with independents, im currently in discussion with two very professional looking shops.  im sure this is going to cost me quite a bit, but this group deserves a fresh looking environment to play in.  hopefully we can keep making progress on this

I really like this forum.   you could keep it as is and save your money.   Glitz is nice but its the content and the knowledgeable users that make it.

I would like you to comment on "https://forum.e-bodies.org/index.php"  this forum that I just recently come to find.   Why do we have two??  Maybe they could be combined?

well we'll be trying to do things to make it more mobile friendly which is the way things are going these days.  also try to work out picture posting which has always been a complaint about this site.  as for the other site, dont know anything about it.  just another forum i guess, i dont have anything to do with that one.  people are free to choose whichever one they want to use
