rock auto sale
« on: August 24, 2016 - 11:05:07 PM »
wasn't sure where to put this, so I apologize in advance. It appears Rock Auto is selling off a lot of brake parts for Ebodies.

Doublecheck the part numbers ... I bought a bunch off their closeout listing without doing so & ended up with a couple of items for a 4-cylinder "Challenger"

slightly different list for a '73   Radiator Hose is wrong DAMHIK

I just ordered suspension parts for my latest project.  Rock was WAY cheaper then Advance Auto on the same exact parts.  There is a thread on Moparts that lists the latest RockAuto 5% discount codes.  I saved close to $9 on my last order.  Not a whole lot but $9 is $9 and it adds up.

I just figured out the closeout code..  Select any model, in this case I pulled up a 13 Dodge Challenger 5.7L.. copy last 7-didgets
http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/dodge,2013,challenger,5.7l+v8,1505043

Now click on one of the closeout links & change the 7-digit number
http://www.rockauto.com/RSS/vehiclefeeds.php?carcode=1078680&m=wc&l=en&html=true

now you see the closeouts for that model

9 bucks adds up.
At a meeting with the architects where we were looking at ways to cut the budget $500,000, I as the owner rep showed where maybe $10,000 could be saved, their response was we have to look for bigger places to save leave that in, my response was ,if I put a $20 bill on the floor, there wont be a one of you that will step over it. Room went silent.
