I can't argue with, because it's happened to me, but the last couple of times has been pretty good...no back orders :2cents:

If I have to wait for the wiring harness it wont be a problem. I wont be home until Christmas, so I will wait for the 30% discount.  I order what I know I need and have it waiting for me. Thanks for the info.
Tim,

For about $600-$700 (when on sale) you can re-wire the whole car :2cents:

Well this week has had its ups and down, no pun intended. Working my day job when the ladder I was using collapsed and I look like I was hit by a train, didnt fall that far but when you take blood thinners it dont take much. One guy managed to break my fall by catching me around the chest, I am pushing 240 and his is a little guy, but he didnt let go. Thank God nothing broke. I got to be more careful so I can work on the Challenger in December.

Glad you weren't seriously hurt. I was up and down my extension ladder several times yesterday trying to resolve a heat tape issue on my roof before the snow flies.  As I had a bad fall off a ladder in 1984 (you know it was bad if I remember the year ), I was being very cautious as I didn't want to fall and ruin my upcoming 10-day fishing trip.   :22yikes:

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

I am trying to find some history on my car, so I tried a Carfax but it says invalid VIN, is it because its so old or what. I traced my car back to FLorence Alabama. The reason I am looking is I need the last know registration in order to get it in my name. Any thoughts?
My VIN is JH29NOBI52874
On VIN's is the O a zero or letter O
the I is the number 1 or small L or capital i?
or does it matter?

No letter o in the VIN that is A zero, the 8th digit is A one. I hate to be that guy, but your car is not an R/T S/E. it's an S/E that came with A 383-330 horse power engine.    An R/T S/E would be JS29. :2cents:

Ordered my wiring harness yesterday, Yearone had a 30% discount for Halloween, so Trick or Treat,  That made a difference in price, and it was in stock.

Cool looking project Tim, I will be a regular follower. My mate has a Plum crazy 70 and it looks fantastic as will yours. Great progress so far, keep it up. Must be so hard not being able to walk out to the shed and tinker with your car. My wife thought I was going to move my bed into the shed .

I was curious about the production numbers and remembered a long ago post of mine from an article in the January 1985 issue of Collectible Automobile.

Here's the old thread  http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=44876.msg455823#msg455823
