Yes I saw that, 644 383 auto SE made, Dont know if it makes it worth more or not but I like it. First thought it was a RT SE, which had way higher production numbers, thanks for the info.

Update, I found the original hood that came on my car, It appears the guy that I bought it from had it and forgot or something, to tell me. I told to please look for more parts such as the AC hoses. I happy to find the hood I just could not stand to sink 3 k into a hole in my hood ie Shaker, although they are nice, I will put that money somewhere else.

I spoke to Mark Worman(Graveyard Carz) and he suggested I purchase the book "The finer points of detail book" from MMCdetroit.com , many of you may already know, I didnt lol so I thought I would share. Just ordered mine. Many great photos on the site for reference, that you dont have to buy.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Can someone tell me what the heck I have. Inlet on the tank is on the drivers side. I put the fuel line and the bend is going toward the outside of the car on the passenger  side. According to the bends it  looks correct except  at the end at the rear wheel. All these parts were purchased  by the guy I got the car from. Please don't ask to put pictures  that's a task in its self. Any ideas

By "Inlet" I'll assume your meaning the fuel pickup, so yes thats correct it is on the drivers side of the fuel tank. Some cars also are equipped with a return line at the same location. The vent line/s are the opposite  side.
Hope that helps?   clear as mud?  :icon16:

Google "1970 Challenger fuel tank" then click on images, to see various pictures. Then add "fuel sender" to the previous search , the only variance is if it has CA emissions or not. That effects the vent configuration.

It sounds like the fuel line you're trying to install is a 1971 vent line. How far does it go up to the front ?
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

The original clips are still on the car, the line does not go up to the last clip near the front. I know this has been confusing sine I didnt take it apart.

Ordered a new fuel line today, just no way the other one would work. I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but I am not the dullest.
So with that on a 8 week wait list gone to some other areas. Pulled the dash, headliner today. The headliner must have been replaces at some time, it was made out of fiber board covered with material.

Also working on wire harness and other areas under the hood

Took 2500 sandpaper  to the taillight lens  then buffed with medium polish on a buffing wheel but very carefully
