Well its time to get back to the grind, I got a lot done on my car, well at least I think I did, sound deadening 95% done, will put in the doors later. I did get my wiring(New) installed, thats the only way to go, spend all that money to put a old wiring harness back ? Not a good idea. If you remember early in my thread, I was having issues with the fuel line, chunked the first one and bought a new one, PERFECT. I have no clue what the other was made for.

This job was not bad, just time consuming, since it was a little cool I applied it using a heat gun and small roller, then I put aluminum tape on the seams, I was thinking about putting it on the roof also, just dont know how it would react to the heat in the summer time. I do have the cardboard type of headliner so I might be ok.
Brake/ gas e-brakes media blasted and painted along with the chrome trim rings. I thing I did find out is the rubber covers I put in the media blast cabinet with fine media, and they turned out great.
While in the process of rebuilding my heater box I decided to clean inside the motor and grease it,
NOW, for those of you that have never done this, this little dude was a pain. And for the ones here that have, you know what I am talking about. Well when you pull the armature the brushes pop out. There may be a better way or a special tool to hold them in place but I did not have one, so I made one, took a stiff wire and shaped like a "V" one side being longer than the other. But I did get it back together and cleaned the armature with very fine sand paper to clean up the contact points. Works like a charm. This dude had not seen grease in many years.
