Best Street Clutch Set up

I need a clutch for a 440 4spd that's just going to be street driven.  I've been using Centerforce for years but their prices seem to be getting awful high.

I'll pay the price if I have to but is there an alternative out there with similar pedal pressure that's as good?

I would never consider a diaphram clutch over a Borg & Beck design.

I have the McLeod Street Twin in my 'Cuda.  High holding power with a relatively soft pedal.  The motor is a 520#-ft Stroker small block. Brewer's has the best pricing.

I put a new B&B in mine and it started slipping within 500 miles. Found out that the fingers were not adjusted properly from the factory. Talked to them and they said they "had a few" get out that way and if I paid the shipping they would replace it. Shipping costs about as much as the pressure plate so I bought a McLeod diaphragm that had actually had a little more pressure. Works perfect.

Another vote for Mcleod. I use Borg and Beck style as well as street twin and they both work awesome.

For a single disk clutch my Favorite is the B&B/Long , it has lower pedal pressure using longer levers , this is ONLY made by McLeod
