Thanks Alan, I have a new cardboard trunk divider there and I've been reading that there was a jute pad between the seat and the cardboard.

I'm okay with just the cardboard, but I have this die cut plastic wrapped jute that looks like something an OEM would use (and seems that old)... it could be for some other car since I did get this project in pieces.

 :drama:

Bit of a set back this week...

A friend was moving a piece of equipment outside my shop to an out building on the property with unimaginable results. He somehow jumped on it in reverse and crashed through my overhead door and slammed into the Cuda!   :banghead:
Of course it kept coming until Cuda's front end crushed into the racking.  :faint:

Family and friends have tried to comfort me by saying "it could have been worse"... but I really don't see how that's possible.

I'm still sick about it, but new parts and more paint are on the way.

I'll post the security video once I figure out how to convert the format.

Well, here's what I can show you so far...

I luckily had the trunk lid and hood up (although it nicked the hood edge and broken glass from the overhead door falling on the rear deck chipped the paint)

Not sure if having the bumpers on would have helped and I also think having the car on the ground instead of in the air was a good thing too.

I had no insurance on the Cuda as yet and while my property coverage would cover all the damages, my deductible is $25,000.

I also won't ask my buddy to cover it for a number of good reasons, so we'll simply move on...

Hey  :poopoke: happens!

What a turn of events, had the same happen to me on a 64 Impala, hit by my dad, Dad more important than the car since he gave it to me.

Thanks guys! We go to paint this week; I just hope its the last time.

Since I didn't kill my buddy, no one was hurt.  >:(

Will get back to re-assembly once the accident is erased.

You would think a 12' X 12' overhead door would it, but apparently not!   :banghead:

New AMD header panel needed very little tweaking (best aftermarket panels in my opinion)

Took the down time opportunity to repaint the inside of my spray booth...

And enjoy the fall colors of the new driveway trees
