Thanks.  Didn't know that was there.  It looks like there are enough bulbs of that type to warrant buying 8.

Installed the LED's.  WOW !!!   I might have to actually dim them at night.   :D
FYI for anyone else thinking about using them........   They will not fit into the metal "cap" that's used for the ash tray light, the light at the bottom of the switches or the far left panel light.

Got my LED's installed today. Went with the green bulbs and left the blue filters in place. Don't know if any body else had this problem, but the LED bulbs wouldn't fit in the light bar hole. Had to drill it out with a 7/16" bit which also helped make a good ground to the light socket. I expanded the keepers on the sockets and it worked out OK.

Yeh they are, and pretty affordable also. I got 10, (5 green and 5 blue) on eBay for around $16.00

I first thought I would have to drill mine out also. But I used dielectric grease on the panel and they finally slipped in. I also used green bulbs with the blue filter.  :D
Btw, be very careful and make sure the bulb socket does not have any corrosion and put dielectric grease on the bulb. I twisted the base loose from one because it didn't want to twist into the socket.

My bulbs were a tight fit, but with a little finesse they all slid in.  No drilling required.
I too left the blue filter lens in place.

This is going to happen for me too!  ... Just got to squirrel some nuts in the paypal account now hahaha.    I have a bit of a cam so I get that brutal dimming when the thing lopes in reverse and I can't see anything.

A headlight relay kit will go along way in minimizing that issue.

Did anyone add the HVAC and ashtray bulbs also.
They appear to be different so which were used and were they better?

I used the same LED's as pictured above and they work great but not CRAZY brighter?

:dunno:  I've got the BA9S in my Challenger - no issues so far.

The ashtray light is #1445 for the incandescent which maps to BA9S in LED.  IIRC, the other bulbs for the console are #1816 (light panel) and #57 (indicators) which also map to BA9S.

You do have to be careful for oversize bulbs especially when they are encapsulated like the ashtray and AC/Heater lamps.
